Reporting into the Compliance and Capacity Planning Manager, The Project Lead roles will be responsible for the NSW/ACT region and will each have two Project Lead direct reports, delivery their respective regional areas.
The Team Lead will be accountable for maintaining Corrective & Preventative Maintenance delivery standards, ensuring works continue to meet Telstra approval requirements and that Target Finish Dates are achieved on more than 95% of orders.
They will play a critical role in driving quality, consistency, accountability, and operational excellence
What you’ll be doing:

Manage the timely and compliant submission of Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS) and engagement with local councils and regulatory bodies.

Monitor and report program performance to ensure financial, operational, and delivery targets are achieved.

Identify, engage, and develop subcontractor networks to support project delivery requirements.

Deliver projects safely, on time, and in accordance with customer and client expectations.

Provide technical expertise and practical solutions to support project and asset outcomes.

Oversee project scheduling, DBOR management, and post-completion quality assurance activities.

Support lifecycle replacement programs and end-of-life asset planning to maintain network resilience.

Assess and manage project-related network risks, including fault triage and development of restoration solutions.

Provide incident management support, including stakeholder communications, restoration updates, and Donesafe reporting compliance.

Act as SME for critical site prioritisation, work scoping, and review of WINS/MOP documentation for high-risk works.

Manage governance and compliance activities, including SWIMS capital works submissions, critical risk work exemptions, safety requirements, and CM status reporting.
About You

Strong background in Project Delivery, Facilities (Telco highly regarded)

Project Management or equivalent certification desirable.

Degree-qualified in appropriate technical discipline Fire / Hazardous Substances / Asbestos (or extensive experience/on-the-job development).

Experience in successfully managing project teams.

Work Order Management System Experience (Maximo highly regarded)

Strong leadership and communication skills accompanied with strong negotiation and influencing skills.

Proven commercial management skills in relation to contract and financial project management.
