Elegant Collections is a premium furniture retailer specialising in luxury sofas, dining and bedroom furniture, and curated home décor. We directly import high-end products, offering our customers exceptional quality and design.
With an established presence across Sydney and Melbourne, we are seeking a creative, sales-driven Retail Assistant (Marketing Enthusiast) to join our team. This role will be based at our Truganina and Braybrook location.
About the Role
This is a dual-role position combining retail sales excellence with hands-on marketing involvement. You will not only deliver outstanding in-store customer experiences but also contribute to content creation, brand presence, and promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maximise sales opportunities while delivering exceptional customer service
- Build strong product knowledge and confidently recommend solutions
- Engage with customers promptly and create memorable in-store experiences
- Follow up on enquiries and maintain strong customer relationships
- Maintain showroom presentation and visual merchandising standards
- Meet individual sales targets and KPI requirements
- Assist with order fulfilment and customer collections
- Open and close the store as required
Marketing & Content Responsibilities
- Create engaging in-store content (photos/videos) for social media platforms
- Assist with Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok content ideas and execution
- Support promotional campaigns, sales events, and new product launches
- Identify trends and suggest creative ways to increase foot traffic and sales
- Work closely with management to enhance brand visibility and engagement
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in retail, sales, or customer service
- Experience in bulky goods retail and ability to assist with lifting
- Strong interest or experience in marketing, social media, or content creation
- Confident in using platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- A results-driven, competitive, and self-motivated mindset
- Strong communication and sales closing skills
- A genuine passion for customer engagement and building repeat business
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends on a rotating roster
- Professional presentation and a proactive, “can-do” attitude
- Ability to start immediately

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
