About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team based in Minto. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative, high-performing team within a global organisation that is a recognised leader in the design and manufacture of sustainable modular flooring solutions.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experience by managing both pre- and post-order activities. You will ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently while meeting quality, scheduling and service expectations. Your focus will be on building strong customer relationships and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment where customer satisfaction is paramount.
Success in this role comes from being curious, organised and customer focused. You’ll enjoy learning new processes, continuously improving the way we work and supporting your team mates to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting account tasks for clients including processing of orders/ credits, stock procurement, and coordination of deliveries to meet project installation deadlines.
- Timely execution of customer communication through the CRM system and phone.
- Play an active role in maximising sales and cash flow results by optimising proactive order management, stock allocation and shipping of orders.
- Follow company guidelines to ensure customers remain committed to taking delivery of orders as per agreed delivery dates. Negotiate the needs of storage, fees, and invoicing with customers.
- Promptly informing customers about any issues or delays, including appropriate solutions and follow-up communication.
- Carry out daily checks in line with audit requirements.
- Develop rapport with customers.
What You’ll Bring
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Previous experience in a customer service, order management, or sales support role within a fast-paced environment
- Experience using ERP systems such as JDE or SAP is an advantage, but training will be provided
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn new systems and processes
- High attention to detail – you enjoy getting things right the first time
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Confidence communicating with customers and colleagues at all levels
- A collaborative mindset – you enjoy being part of a supportive team
