What you will do
As victim registers – senior coordinator, you will help deliver important services for victims of crime.
You will support the rollout and daily operation of the youth justice victims register.
You will:
-
lead the setup of the youth justice victims register and improve team processes
-
provide trauma-informed support to victims by phone, email and post
-
supervise and support junior staff across the registers
-
prepare clear reports, briefings and advice on complex matters
-
build strong working relationships with justice agencies and support services.
About you
You should have experience working in a service delivery setting. Qualifications in psychology, social work, human services, law or a related field are highly desirable.
You should also have:
-
experience delivering trauma-informed services to victims and families
-
knowledge of the victim services and youth justice systems
-
experience handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
-
strong skills in problem-solving, staff support and service improvement.
