The role
Laundry Room is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Delivery Driver / Linen Packer to join our team on a part-time / casual basis in Busselton, WA. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of clean linen to our valued customers throughout the local area.
Key responsibilities
1. Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport clean linen to customer locations as well as collect customer soiled linen and laundry items
2. Carefully pack and load linen for delivery, ensuring items are well-organised and protected
3. Provide exceptional customer service by delivering items on time and communicating proactively with customers
4. Assist with the general sorting, folding and packing of linen in our on-site laundry facilities
5. Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the delivery vehicle
6. Adhere to all relevant health, safety and compliance requirements
What we're looking for
1. A current driver's licence and a safe driving record. Manual license preferred.
2. Must hold a current car licence (C class) to operate delivery vehicles
3. Experience in a customer service or delivery role, preferably in the logistics or transport industry
4. Minimum of 2+ years experience in customer service or delivery roles is required
5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and independently
6. Good physical fitness and the capability to lift heavy items
7. Must be able to lift items weighing between 15-25kg as part of regular duties
8. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
9. A commitment to workplace health and safety
