Lead Educator – Diploma Qualified
About the Role
As a Lead Educator, you will play a key role in creating a nurturing, engaging, and inspiring learning environment for children. You will lead your room team in delivering high-quality educational programs, mentor fellow educators, and work collaboratively with families and leadership to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor educators within your room, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging educational programs in accordance with the EYLF v2.0 and the National Quality Framework.
- Guide and support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through meaningful interactions and play-based experiences.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community.
- Maintain high standards of documentation, observations, and critical reflection to support continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with the National Law, National Regulations, Child Safe Standards, and Raising Stars policies and procedures.
- Promote an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment where every child develops a strong sense of belonging.
