The client
Buddy Advisory is proud to be partnering with Propel Ventures, a Melbourne AI transformation and product engineering consultancy. We help enterprise and founder-led businesses put AI to work safely and usefully. Our enablement practice is one of the fastest-growing parts of what we do - getting real people, from executives to frontline staff, genuinely capable with AI tools.
The role
You will be embedded with our clients, taking their people from AI-curious to AI-capable. Day to day, that means running hands-on sessions - group workshops, brown bags, and side-by-side desk coaching - helping staff use Claude and other AI tools in their actual work. You will meet people where they are, build their confidence, and prove the shift with clear before-and-after metrics. This is high-volume, people-first work: think dozens of short, practical sessions across an organisation, not one big presentation.
The responsibilities
Deliver AI training and enablement on client sites - workshops, group sessions, and one-on-one desk-side coaching on everyday AI tools and workflows.
Run our baseline assessment on the way in and a clear report-out on the way through, so clients can see the progress they have made.
Keep our enablement materials sharp and current, and help productise them into reusable assets others can run.
Spot follow-on opportunities while embedded - where a client could go further - and write them up clearly for the senior team to take forward.
Set the quality bar as we scale, working alongside junior enablers drawn from our university program
The requirements
A natural teacher – you get a genuine kick out of someone else “getting it.” Explaining, coaching and building confidence is what you enjoy most.
Warm and credible with people – comfortable in front of a room and equally good one-on-one with someone who finds all this intimidating.
Genuinely AI-fluent – you use Claude and other AI tools every day, and you've built or tinkered with things yourself: skills, small apps, side projects.
Hands-on and curious – you learn by doing, you're unafraid to try things live, and you'd rather show than tell.
High stamina and consistency – you can bring the same energy to your fortieth session as your first.
Desirable: certifications with Claude, OpenAI or Microsoft Copilot (or a clear intent to earn them – Propel will support you).
Desirable: experience in teaching, training, sales engineering, technical support, or customer success.
Desirable: a background that involves making technical ideas land with non-technical audiences.
This role is not a sales role or a management role. You won't be asked to bring in business or run a team. Your job is to be brilliant at getting people capable with AI, on the ground, at scale. If you love building your own products more than teaching others, then this specific role isn't the seat for you.
Why join
A front-row seat in one of the most in-demand areas of AI consulting, with a firm that is genuinely at the frontier.
Variety – different clients, industries and people, constantly.
Real growth: as Propel's enablement practice scales, so does the opportunity for the person who helped build it.
Melbourne based with travel to client sites as the role demands.
Salary guidance: up to $75K + superannuation
