As a Senior Valuer (Assurance) within the State Valuation Service, you will contribute to delivering statutory land valuations across Queensland in line with legislative requirements. You will support the Valuer-General's functions by providing assurance on valuation practices, helping ensure consistency, accuracy and quality across services.
In this role, you will work autonomously to deliver assurance activities, provide guidance to valuers, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will investigate and resolve complex or contentious valuation issues, contribute to grievance resolution, and may prepare Land Court briefs or provide expert evidence. You will build relationships with internal stakeholders, government agencies, local government and the public, providing advice and managing complex valuation matters. You will also support innovation and improved practices, contributing to efficient and effective valuation outcomes. Success in this role is demonstrated through delivery of high quality assurance outcomes, sound decision-making, strong stakeholder relationships, and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting service standards.
