Senior Manager, Projects – NSW Trustee and Guardian

The agency supports the NSW Trustee, the Public Guardian and the Commissioner of Dormant Funds to carry out their statutory functions. We do this by providing a range of customer-centred services, including Will-making, trustee, financial management and guardianship services, including some for the state’s most vulnerable people.
We support over 50,000 customers annually and manage almost seven billion dollars in customer assets. We are a NSW government agency within the Communities and Justice Portfolio, our services help support and protect people at critical moments in their lives.

The Senior Manager, Projects will lead the strategic planning, governance and delivery of divisional programs and projects across the People and Culture function at NSW Trustee and Guardian. Reporting to the Director, People and Culture, the role is responsible for driving projects that improve processes, service delivery, governance frameworks and operational performance.
You will oversee complex, cross‑functional initiatives, establish fit‑for‑purpose governance and reporting, and provide high‑quality advice, briefings and insights to senior leaders and executives. The role plays a key part in enabling evidence‑based decision‑making, continuous improvement and the effective delivery of People and Culture priorities aligned to organisational and government objectives.

You are a senior project and program leader with strong experience delivering complex initiatives in HR, corporate or similarly regulated environments. You bring a structured, outcomes‑focused approach to project management, with the ability to balance competing priorities, manage risk and deliver high‑quality results in dynamic settings.
You are confident working with executives and senior stakeholders, translating complex information into clear advice, reports and recommendations. You have experience improving business processes, governance and performance reporting, and are comfortable leading teams, coordinating resources and engaging external suppliers where required.
