Doncaster Jaguar Land Rover is seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Forman/Controller to oversee the daily operations of our busy service department. About the role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating workshop workflow, supporting technicians, and ensuring all repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to manufacturer standards. Your leadership will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer satisfaction and strong operational performance.
Key responsibilities

Manage and prioritise daily workshop activities to maximise productivity and efficiency

Allocate repair orders and monitor technician performance and progress

Ensure all work is completed to Jaguar Land Rover manufacturer standards and timeframes

Support diagnosis of complex technical concerns where required

Maintain clear communication between Service Advisors, Parts, and Technicians

Monitor workshop quality control, safety, and compliance processes

Contribute to achieving labour sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets
About you

Previous experience as a Workshop Foreman/Controller or senior technician ready to step up

Strong technical knowledge, ideally within Jaguar Land Rover or other premium brands

Proven leadership and team coordination skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities

High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Current and valid driver’s licence
