About the Role
Due to continued growth of the business, we are seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to join our Workshop in Jandakot, WA on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the North-West Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective workshop and fleet operations. Working closely with Operations, Workshop Supervisors, Trades personnel, Procurement, and suppliers, you will play a key role in maximising asset availability, minimising downtime, and ensuring maintenance activities are delivered effectively.
Supporting the continued alignment between Contract Resources and Cleanaway, the Maintenance Scheduler will contribute to improved maintenance planning, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration. Leveraging established systems, processes, and industry best practices, this role will also support continuous improvement initiatives and workshop performance outcomes.
Duties will include but not limited to
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance schedules.
- Prioritise maintenance activities based on operational requirements, resource availability, safety, and business impact.
- Coordinate labour, equipment, parts, and external service providers to support efficient maintenance execution.
- Liaise with Operations, Workshop personnel, Procurement, and vendors to ensure maintenance activities are planned and completed effectively.
- Utilise maintenance management systems to schedule work, track completion, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Monitor maintenance performance and contribute to initiatives that improve asset reliability, workshop productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Support collaboration and process alignment across Contract Resources and Cleanaway operations.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports and provide scheduling insights to support operational planning and decision-making.
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements & Experience Needed
- Experience in a Maintenance Scheduler, Maintenance Planner, or similar role.
- Trade qualification in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of maintenance planning and workshop operations.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
