Arndell Anglican College is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher Librarian (P-6) commencing Term 1 2027 to lead our Junior School Library as a vibrant centre for learning, research and reading. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is committed to fostering curiosity, information literacy and a lifelong love of learning in young people.
Working closely with students and staff, you will guide and empower students to become confident users of information, enthusiastic readers, critical and creative thinkers, skilled researchers and ethical users of a broad range of resources and media. You will play a key role in planning, developing and delivering the Junior School Library Studies and Information Skills curriculum for students from Prep to Year 6.
You will promote the library as a welcoming and engaging learning hub that supports literacy, digital citizenship and information literacy while partnering with teachers and Diverse Learning staff to enhance student outcomes.
