MLKA Hospitality Recruitment is seeking an experienced and capable Head Chef to take the lead in a highly respected hospitality venue located on the Eyre Highway in Regional South Australia.

Package Includes
✔ $37.35 per hour Monday-Friday
✔ $40.35 per hour after 7pm Monday-Friday

The Role
As Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, leading a small team while maintaining the high food standards the venue has become known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations
- Lead lunch and dinner service periods
- Prepare and cook quality short order and bistro-style meals
- Short-order cooking during busy service periods
- Stock control and ordering management
- Supervise and support kitchen staff
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
We're Looking For
- Qualified Chef with previous Head Chef, Sous Chef or senior kitchen experience
- Strong bistro and high-volume service experience
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to lead by example in a hands-on environment
- Strong food quality and presentation standards
- Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small, supportive team
