Be the face of IT in a people-focused support role.
We're looking for a customer-focused Desktop Support Officer to join our IT team. In this hands-on role, you'll provide exceptional support to employees across the business, ensuring they have the technology and assistance they need to work effectively.
You'll be responsible for supporting end-user devices, mobile technology, Microsoft 365 applications, meeting room technology, and desktop-related issues while delivering an outstanding user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite and remote desktop support to employees across the business
- Manage the lifecycle of laptops, mobile phones and peripherals, including provisioning, deployment and asset management
- Support Microsoft Intune device management and compliance
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365 and Teams issues
- Maintain meeting room and video conferencing technology
- Prepare and deploy equipment for new starters
- Manage and resolve incidents through the IT service management platform
- Assist in maintaining security and compliance standards for end-user devices
About You
- 1-2 years' experience in a Desktop Support, Service Desk or IT Support role
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Teams and Windows environments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Experience with Active Directory user administration
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
