Synergie is seeking a Mobile Plant Operator to join a leading limestone quarry operation in the Gladstone region.
Synergie is seeking Mobile Plant Operators for a leading mining and quarrying operation located in Calliope, 20 minutes from Gladstone.
The important parts:
- Casual hourly rates ranging from $43.00 to $51.00 per hour, depending on experience
- 4/3 roster working 10-hour days, offering excellent work-life balance
- Above award rates with ongoing work and development opportunities
- All required tickets and VOCs can be completed on site
What you will be required to do:
As a Mobile Plant Operator, you will play a key role in the safe extraction and processing of limestone products while supporting daily quarry operations.
- Operate mobile plant equipment including loaders and other heavy machinery
- Load haulage trucks and support crushing and mining activities
- Conduct general plant operations, manual clean-up and basic maintenance tasks
- Collect and test product samples in designated test pads
- Work safely and efficiently within a production-focused team environment
To be successful in the role you will:
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
- Have previous experience operating front-end loaders and other heavy equipment (highly desirable)
- Background or experience in civil labouring / plant operation
- Be flexible, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Be willing to undertake operational and quality training as part of ongoing development
- Be able to pass pre-employment medical
- Have access to reliable transport and ability to get to work
- Have a car licence at a minimum
