SIA Medical Centre is a family-owned general practice that has branched out over the last couple of years into 8 beautiful center's and we are now seeking a Full-time Practice Manager for one of our Western Suburb clinics.
About You:
We are after an experienced practice manager who is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the practice smoothly and efficiently in addition to providing exceptional care to our patients.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day administration/reception office operations with well-developed skills in leading a medical and administration team;
- Staff Management including rostering, staff development and performance reviews and training new staff;
- Maintain clinic accreditation standards and update practice policies and procedures;
- Responsible for all practitioners to ensure smooth running of the centre with revenue in mind;
- Business development and planning to help and expand services to our patients;
- Implementation of new programs to improve quality, revenue, cost management, customer service and exceptional patient care;
- Maintain awareness of current and new legislation to ensure business is complying with all statutory and regulatory obligations including industrial and employment laws, OHS requirements and privacy policy obligations;
- Working closely with the management team.

We provide you with book-keeping, payroll, marketing, admin and head office support. Allowing you to focus on doing the things you love such as building a team and improving the operations of the clinic.

Quarterly in-house learning events for anything from personal finance to how to do better performance reviews, goal settings and suggested topics. Practice management is an ongoing learning experience so we leverage the team to upskill everyone together.
Support from an Area nurse manager and Area nurse advisor.
We have created roles that will assist in enhancing the performance of key nurses in your clinic. New nurses will also receive training and have their own development program.
Essential:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Proven experience of managing nursing and administration staff;
- Working knowledge of Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS and Private Health Insurance billings;
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work flow;
- Positive, can-do attitude and determination to make a difference for our patients and practice.
