Who We Are
Established in 1973, Family Planning Welfare NT (FPWNT) is a non-profit, community-based organisation providing culturally responsive reproductive and sexual health services. They deliver clinical care, counselling, education, and training, and are proudly inclusive and committed to promoting sexual health and rights for all. They are supported by the Sexual Health and Reproductive Health Alliance (SRHA), formerly FPAA.

What’s the role?
This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about improving the reproductive and sexual health of Territorians. You will contribute to FPWNT’s mission through clinical leadership and support.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing clinical governance and acting as the senior clinical advisor within a supportive multidisciplinary team
Offering guidance, supervision and mentorship to clinicians, GP registrars and medical students
Delivering high-quality clinical services aligned with FPWNT guidelines
Working collaboratively with the education team to support theory and practical reproductive and sexual health training
What do you need to apply?
Medical Degree and Specialist Medical Registration with AHPRA
Fellow of RACGP or ACRRM
Current GP Supervisor status
MS2-Step Prescriber (FPWNT is a pro-choice medical abortion provider)
FPAA certificate or willingness to obtain
Certification or willingness to gain skills in Implanon and IUD insertion/removal
Valid medical indemnity, CPR certificate, police clearance and NT Ochre Card
