About the Role
As a Shift Supervisor, you will oversee underground development activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to plan. You will provide frontline leadership to crews while driving safety, productivity and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise underground development crews
- Coordinate daily mining activities to achieve production targets
- Ensure compliance with site safety systems and statutory requirements
- Conduct pre-start meetings, inspections and workplace audits
- Monitor crew performance and provide mentoring and guidance
- Liaise with Mine Engineers, Technical Services and Operations teams
- Investigate and report incidents, hazards and improvement opportunities
- Promote a strong safety culture and high-performance work environment
- Ensure development activities are completed to quality and operational standards
