Operations Administrator – Port Adelaide, Sth Australia
About the role and Opportunity -
As an Operations Administrator, you will provide critical administrative and customer service support to ensure the efficient delivery of logistics services across the business. This is a varied role where you'll work closely with operational teams, customers and support functions to maintain accurate records, process documentation, coordinate reporting and support compliance activities.
No two days are the same, and you'll be at the centre of keeping operations running smoothly while contributing to a safe, productive and customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities and duties, but not limited to –
Provide administrative support to the Operations Team, including reporting, document management and correspondence.
Process purchasing requests, invoices and supporting documentation in line with business requirements.
Maintain accurate records and data within Toll systems and reporting platforms.
Manage shared inboxes and respond to stakeholder enquiries in a timely manner.
Support HR, HSE and training administration activities.
Coordinate filing, archiving and document control processes.
Assist with customer service enquiries and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
About You -
You are a proactive administrator who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. You have excellent organisational skills, can effectively manage competing priorities and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. You enjoy building relationships, providing outstanding customer service and supporting teams to achieve operational success.
What you will bring to succeed -
Previous experience in an administration, logistics or operational support role.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent time management and organisational capabilities.
A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
