Tell me about this role:
We are seeking experienced Naval Architects to support a range of Defence maritime acquisition and sustainment programs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will provide specialist naval architecture expertise, contribute to systems engineering activities, and support the delivery of complex capability outcomes.

What will I be doing day to day?
- Provide naval architecture advice and technical support across Defence maritime projects
- Support requirements development and management activities
- Assist with systems engineering, technical assurance and design review activities
- Develop, review and maintain engineering and technical documentation
- Contribute to capability definition, verification and certification activities
- Work closely with Defence, industry and project stakeholders to deliver engineering outcomes
- Provide specialist maritime systems knowledge to support project delivery and sustainment activities
What sort of skills do I need?
- Degree qualification in Naval Architecture or a related engineering discipline
- Experience within a Defence maritime environment
- Experience supporting complex acquisition, sustainment or capability development projects
- Knowledge of systems engineering and requirements management principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a process-driven approach
- Australian Citizenship and NV1 security clearance
