Role Summary:
Based at Scoresby the Key Account manager will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of key customer accounts, driving sustainable revenue growth and commercial outcomes. You will take a strategic and consultative approach to account management, ensuring strong customer relationships while aligning internal teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet customer needs. The role combines commercial accountability, relationship management, and data-driven decision making to maximise long-term customer value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and continuously refine strategic account plans to retain, grow, and diversify key accounts, ensuring delivery against revenue, margin, and growth targets while mitigating commercial risks.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships, acting as the primary point of contact, leading complex negotiations, and ensuring the successful delivery of products, solutions, and contractual outcomes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, operations, marketing, pricing, and customer service) to deliver integrated solutions, improve customer experience, and drive business outcomes.
- Leverage data and market insights to monitor performance, identify growth opportunities, highlight risks, and support informed, commercially sound decision-making.
About You:
- Proven experience managing strategic or key accounts, with a strong commercial mindset and the ability to drive revenue growth and customer retention within competitive markets.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to interpret customer and market data, build insights, and translate these into actionable strategies and outcomes.
- Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing and engaging with both internal teams and senior customer stakeholders.
- Collaborative and solutions-focused, with experience working across multiple business functions to deliver customer-centric outcomes and continuous improvement.
