We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our NATA-accredited laboratory team. This role focuses on the testing and evaluation of plumbing products, ensuring all equipment meets industry and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in fitting and machining, and be proficient in designing testing jigs, CAD, welding, lathe operations, and advanced MS Office applications. This position requires an individual capable of working independently while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient laboratory environment.
o Conduct rigorous testing of plumbing products in accordance with established protocols and industry standards.
o Develop, implement, and validate testing methods to ensure consistent quality and reliability.
o Design and construct testing jigs tailored to specific testing requirements.
- Equipment Maintenance & Calibration:
o Oversee routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory testing equipment.
o Ensure all instruments are calibrated accurately and maintained in optimal working condition.
o Manage calibration schedules and maintain detailed records to support NATA accreditation compliance.
- Reporting & Documentation:
o Compile, analyze, and interpret test data to prepare comprehensive reports and technical documentation.
o Ensure all test results and maintenance activities are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
o Utilize MS Office applications for data analysis, report generation, and documentation.
Pay: $75,000.00 – $79,000.00 per year
