The Opportunity

As a full time , permanent Solicitor in our Ipswich Personal Injury team, that commitment begins with you. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference for those who have been wronged while building meaningful relationships with clients during some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
Joining a growing office, you'll work closely with experienced senior practitioners who are genuinely invested in your development. With direct mentorship and exposure to a diverse range of Personal Injury matters, you'll continue building your technical expertise.
This role is primarily based in our Ipswich office, with occasional travel to our Springfield Lakes office for client appointments. We are also open to considering candidates seeking a minimum of three days per week.
With compassion, connection and purpose, you’ll be a true champion of our clients by:
- Working closely with Special Counsel and a Senior Associate across a range of Personal Injury matters, contributing to positive outcomes for our clients.
- Assisting with the progression of matters from initial investigations through to resolution, while developing your technical expertise and practical legal skills.
- Building strong relationships with clients through clear communication, empathy and effective expectation management.
- Preparing legal documentation and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Contributing to case strategy, liability assessments and quantum investigations to help achieve positive outcomes for clients.
- Contributing positively to the team environment and provide support to junior colleagues where appropriate.
What you’ll bring
To thrive in this role, you’ll:
- A Bachelor of Laws with a current practising certificate.
- Pre or post-admission experience in personal injury law (e.g. workers’ compensation and/or transport accident matters, or similar).
- Have a passion for social justice and a thirst for knowledge in the plaintiff law space.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be dedicated to delivering exceptional client service, with an emphasis on helping people when they need it most.
- Be able to effectively manage multiple competing deadlines, within a fast-paced environment.
