About Aero-Refuellers:
Aero Refuellers, a division of K & S Freighters, is a leader in the Australian aviation fuels reseller market. The business manages 30 airport fuel sites and delivers bulk fuels across the country. A key component of our work is the support of firefighting aircraft deployed during the summer months across Australia.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic who enjoys working Independently. We’re looking for a reliable, hands on professional to join our team in Albury, NSW. This role reports to Workshop Manager.
This is an independent role, perfect for someone who thrives working autonomously, has strong problem solving skills, and can confidently deal with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly.
This role will include a Company vehicle and phone. You’ll enjoy flexible start and finish times, choosing between, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM to suit your lifestyle. After successfully completing your probation period, K&S will fund your forklift ticket and support you to upgrade your license to HR, helping you grow your skills and future career opportunities
You will:
Performing maintenance and repairs of heavy vehicles and equipment
Working independently – you’ll be the go-to person on site
Managing relationships with external suppliers for parts and services
Maintaining equipment and vehicles to company and manufacturer standards
You will have:
Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic
Experience working independently or in remote/autonomous environments highly desirable
Fuel tanker maintenance experience advantageous
Basic computer skills advantageous
Forklift licence highly desirable
HR/HC or MC License highly desirable
Excellent communication
Ability to manage time and workload effectively
