NDIS Support Worker Wanted – Greenvale Area
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and engaging Support Worker for a male NDIS participant in his late 20s based in Greenvale.
He is very high functioning, easy-going, friendly and enjoys having a chat. He loves getting out of the house, especially for walks in nature, parks, outdoor activities and community outings. He does not enjoy spending his support time at home, so we’re looking for someone who is proactive, engaging and genuinely enjoys getting outdoors and exploring different activities with him.
The role will involve approximately 2 weekday shifts per week, generally 3–5 hours per shift during the day.
Activities may include nature walks, visiting parks, going for lunch or coffee, exploring new places and supporting him to stay active and engaged within the community.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid ABN
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Full Driver’s Licence
- Reliable vehicle
- First Aid Certificate preferred
- Reliable and consistent availability
- Friendly, patient and confident engaging with clients
The participant is sensitive to loud sounds and strong smells, so someone with a calm personality would suit him well. Non-smokers are strongly preferred.
We’re ideally looking for someone who can build a good rapport with him and make his support shifts enjoyable, active and something he looks forward to each week.
Interested? Please send through a short introduction including your location, experience, availability and a little about yourself.
Pay: $38.00 – $42.00 per hour
