The Role
We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The position is responsible for the fabrication, repair, modification, and maintenance of our cotton ginning plant and machinery across our cotton processing facilities in NSW including Hillston, Boggabri, Merah North, Yarraman, Moomin, Moree, Mungindi and other locations. You will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity, durability and performance of our cotton ginning machinery during peak ginning season. You will also be expected to respond to breakdowns promptly and restore machines to operational state with minimal delay. You will also assist with modifications and ginning capacity upgrades. This role demands a high standard of workmanship, strong commitment to safety, and the ability to respond quickly under the pressures of a high-volume ginning operation.

Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate has proven skills or experience in a similar role and is equipped with a trade background or proven skills in welding/fabrication. You'll have a mature and proactive approach to your duties and be able to work well with all members of the team. With excellent people management and problem-solving skills, it is important you can prove the following:
· Relevant Trade Qualification or at least three years relevant experience;
· Considerable experience in MIG/TIG welding;
· Demonstrated experience in maintenance within production environments;
· Experience working under pressure of high-volume ginning operations;
· Experience working in confined spaces;
· Team player attitude with high attention to detail;
· Ability to commit to residing in the regional Australia;
· Willingness and ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug + Alcohol testing.
