THE ROLE
The Project Officer's primary responsibilities are to support to the Senior Project Managers and Managers in the Delivery and Strategy team. The role will provide a range of effective support functions, including assisting with project related task, data analysis provide administrative, support with document presentation including the use of email, MS Word, PowerPoint for papers, briefs, letters and other documents, triaging requests from various stakeholder, responding to requests for information as required as well as manage and improve the teams administrative process and corporate information management.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
- Assisting in research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
- Supporting the development and delivery of projects or sub-projects and their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
- Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
- Assist in providing advice to stakeholders and assisting in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.
- Operate with a high-level of integrity and autonomy in managing communication between the Team members, key stakeholders, both internal and external.
