About the role
Humanitech is an Australian Red Cross initiative that convenes technology innovation partners, together with our core areas of work, to co-design solutions for positive humanitarian impact, contemporary brand positioning and funding.
The Head of Humanitech provides strategic leadership, fostering and driving opportunities for the organisation to leverage technology innovation capability, contemporary brand identity, connections to new markets and partners, and funding opportunities.
The position leads Australian Red Cross thought leadership and practice on the use of responsible technology innovation for humanitarian impact.
What you will bring
- Extensive and diverse experience in the application of technology innovation for social impact
- Substantial experience leading high performance teams in humanitarian/NFP, community, government, and/or business sector
- Proven experience in leading cross sector innovation partnerships with successful outcomes
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and/or expertise in business development with a track record of measurable success
- Extensive experience to influence, advocate and represent effectively at high-level external forums
