We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Finance Officer is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership, ensuring strong governance and compliance frameworks, and overseeing key corporate services functions that support the organisation’s growth and sustainability

Key Responsibilities
As a member of the Executive Team, you will:
- Lead all finance and accounting functions across the organisation.
- Oversee budget development, forecasting, financial reporting and cash flow management.
- Provide financial insights and strategic advice to the CEO, Executive Team and Board.
- Lead funding compliance, acquittals and financial accountability across multiple funding streams.
- Manage end-of-month and end-of-year financial reporting, audit processes and statutory obligations.
- Oversee quality, risk and compliance functions.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to finance and corporate services staff.
- Oversee business services including property management, IT systems, telecommunications, fleet and asset management.
- Support business development initiatives through financial modelling and analysis.
- Participate in Finance Committee and Board reporting activities.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- CPA or CA qualification.
- Demonstrated senior financial leadership experience within a complex organisation.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and audit management.
- Experience managing funding contracts, acquittals and compliance requirements.
- Proven people leadership capability, with experience coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience managing corporate services functions, including contracts, IT, telecommunications, facilities or business services.
- Exceptional stakeholder relationship management and communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree qualification in Finance or Accounting.
- CPA or CA accreditation.
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- NSW Working With Children Check.
- Satisfactory National Criminal History Check.
- Full Australian working rights
