- CASUAL AD-HOC SUB-CONTRACT ROLE - POTENTIALLY LONGER FOR THE RIGHT WORKER
We are currently seeking a Casual Handyman worker / Labourer to work in a commercial retail setting, installing Low voltage Plug and Play LED lighting.
Working Monday – Friday, the successful candidate will be required to perform basic Installations & maintenance.
No experience required.
Work is Ad-hoc.
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Installation of low voltage LED plug & play Strip Lighting (No electrical License required) within a retail store setting.
- Travel between retail sites.
- General maintenance, fault finding, and repairs of Strip Lighting.
- Stock control/ Stock management.
- Using basic hand tools.
- Working independently and in a team.
- Other duties as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a current Australian Drivers Licence.
- Hold a Construction Card /White Card.
- Hold an ABN.
- Reliable Vehicle for travel around WA.
- Maintenance / Labourer / Shopfitter experience preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in a similar role is favourable, but not essential.
- Be hardworking, reliable, and dedicated to learning quickly on the job.
- Be available to travel and work away from home in various locations, around WA including the CBD, regional & coastal areas.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 20 per week
