Digital Canberra is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Portfolio Support Officer who can make a contribution to the digital transformation changes underway in our health system. As a Division we are committed to delivering quality solutions for our clinical colleagues in the wider ACT Health Directorate and Canberra Health Services.
Under the direction of the Director, Portfolio Management, the Project Portfolio Support Officer is responsible for supporting project managers and the delivery of successful projects in line with the Digital Health Delivery Frameworks and processes.
To be successful, the Project Portfolio Support Officer must have experience:

supporting project teams in the use of project management tools, developing and implementing project management frameworks and procedures

effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction

supporting the development of cost estimates and detailed budgets
-
resource planning to support project teams to be set up for success
-
analysing project risks and issues
-
monitoring and reporting project progress, and
-
a detailed understanding of the role of the Project Portfolio Management Office in providing project assurance.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- This role may require an Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) Security Clearance, which will be sponsored by the Digital Health Group. In order to be eligible for NV1 Security Clearance, you must be an Australian citizen. If you are not successful in obtaining a security clearance, your employment will be terminated or not commenced.
Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
