The opportunity
As Senior People Experience Business Partner, you'll work closely with leaders across Council to provide strategic and practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This senior generalist role combines employee and industrial relations, recruitment, workforce planning, organisational development and leadership coaching, helping to build a high-performing, positive and compliant workplace culture.
What you’ll be doing
- Partner with leaders and provide expert advice on a broad range of HR matters.
- Coach and support leaders in performance, conduct, development and employee engagement matters.
- Manage and provide guidance on complex employee and industrial relations issues.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities across the organisation.
- Contribute to people projects, policy implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in employee and industrial relations.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise agreements, employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Highly developed analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to influence, coach and build strong stakeholder relationships.
