Gargano Pizzeria & Focacceria is an authentic Italian cafe/restaurant in North Sydney, serving handmade focaccia, artisan pizza and premium Italian coffee.
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic and reliable All-Rounder/Barista to join our team. If you enjoy working with people, love great coffee and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
- Greeting customers with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Taking orders and processing payments using our POS system.
- Preparing consistently great espresso-based coffees.
- Assisting with service.
- Restocking displays and keeping the venue clean and organised.
- Clearing tables and maintaining an exceptional customer experience.
- Working closely with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
What we’re looking for
- Previous hospitality experience.
- Barista experience.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Cash handling and POS experience.
- Food handling experience.
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Reliable, punctual and well presented.
- A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
What we offer
- Casual position ($30–$35 per hour + superannuation).
- 30-38 hours per week.
