An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Assistant Development Manager to join Keyton’s growing pipeline of Retirement Living projects in QLD. The role covers all aspects of the development process, including acquisitions, feasibilities, planning, development, project management, financial control, marketing and sales.
The successful candidate will be based at Bernborough Ascot, a premium vertical community in Brisbane’s inner northeast.
Reporting to the General Manager Development - NSW & QLD, your responsibilities include:
- Support the Development team across all stages of the development lifecycle, from feasibility through to delivery and operational handover
- Assist with coordination of design development and planning approval processes
- Project Management: Coordinate (with guidance) multiple development activities to meet priorities, deadlines and deliverables
- Stakeholder Management: Support internal and external stakeholders through clear updates, meeting coordination and follow-ups
- Reporting: Assist with admin and reporting, including document control, registers, minute taking, presentation preparation and action tracking
- Financial Management: Help manage budgets and cashflows, including forecasting and invoice management
About you:
Your passion for developing safe, secure and connected independent living communities will see you succeed in this role, as will:
- Strong Stakeholder Engagement & Communication with the ability to communicate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Familiarity with property development regulations, statutory requirements, and construction methodologies
- Eagerness to learn and expand your skillset with the guidance of an experienced team
- Strong problem solver with a proactive approach to identifying risks, managing delays, and handling site issues
- Organisational skills to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines
- Tertiary Qualification in a property related field – Property Economics, Architecture, Engineering, Project/Construction Management – Highly Desired
