The Great Southern Hotel Melbourne (GSH-Melbourne) is a busy hotel located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, offering 265 rooms. The hotel is in the perfect location for both the tourist and business client alike, located within extremely close proximity to all the wonderful Melbourne attractions including the Crown Casino, Southern Cross station, New Quay, Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre, Marvel Stadium, and much more. We are currently seeking an experienced and well-presented individual to join our fast-paced Front Office team in the casual position of Night Audit operation.
About the role:
As our Night Auditor, your responsibilities will include:
- Check-in and Check-out of guests.
- Auditing all daily hotel transactions and daily shift reports.
- Competently taking and processing reservations.
- Ensuring professionalism and accuracy with information and billing during arrival and departure.
- Taking responsibility to ensure all required tasks are completed accurately and within given time frames.
- Dealing with any guest complaints in a professional manner.
- Conducting site and safety walks around the hotel

- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
- First Aid and RSA Certificate (optional)
- Knowledge of Oracle/Micros - Opera PMS Systems would be considered as an advantage
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office 365
