The Bower is a local's favourite. Our menu changes on a regular basis, to reflect seasonal produce using both local and organic growers wherever possible - serving up coastal cool alfresco vibes.
We are looking for dynamic, experienced Chefs and Cooks to join our team in both fulltime and casual capacities.
The role entails, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:-
- preparing for service, which includes ensuring the kitchen is well stocked with the necessary ingredients
- cutting and marinating food
- cooking and serving food, while coordinating with other kitchen staff and wait staff
- maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen
- ensuring that dishes meet high standards at all stages of preparation and presentation
The Bower establishment relies on our entire small team to operate as an integrated unit. This means from time to time there may be requirement to help in other areas of the operation.
To be considered for this role, you will have at least 2 years’ experience as a Cook or Chef in a commercial kitchen and may have demonstrated experience in supervising junior kitchen staff.
Note: Strong English is important from a Safety and Compliance perspective as well as the smooth operation of a small team.

Pay: $1,150.00 – $1,350.00 per week
