Lead veterinary care for one of Australia's most unique wildlife collections at Dreamworld!
Dreamworld has one of South East Queensland's largest native wildlife parks and is home to hundreds of incredible animals, including the second-largest captive koala population in Australia and the iconic tigers of Tiger Island.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate zoological veterinarian to lead our veterinary function and work alongside a dedicated team committed to exceptional animal care, welfare and conservation outcomes.

What's the role?
As Dreamworld's zoological veterinarian, you will provide veterinary care across our animal collection while leading the ongoing development of animal health, welfare and husbandry programs.
Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering preventative, diagnostic and surgical veterinary care across a diverse range of species

Supporting and enhancing animal welfare, husbandry and healthcare practices

Collaborating with animal care teams, researchers, universities and government agencies

Ensuring compliance with relevant veterinary and wildlife legislation
-
Participating in disease investigations, conservation initiatives and research projects

Providing on-call veterinary support as required
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Eligibility for registration as a Queensland Veterinary Surgeon
-
Experience in wildlife, zoological and/or captive animal medicine
-
Experience with koalas and large felids highly regarded
-
Strong diagnostic, surgical and clinical skills
-
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
-
A collaborative, organised and proactive approach
-
Current Manual "C" Class Driver Licence
-
Vaccination against Lyssavirus, Q Fever and Tetanus (or willingness to obtain)

Availability to participate in an on-call roster
