We are seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of goods to customers on an as-needed basis, filling in for shifts, covering peak periods, or handling fluctuating workloads. The ideal candidate has excellent time management skills, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and Preparing Deliveries:
- Assist with loading and unloading products from the delivery vehicle (refrigerated Van)
- Verify that all items on the manifest or delivery documents are correctly loaded and secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Safe and Timely Transportation:
- Navigate predetermined routes and/or plan the most efficient delivery route using GPS or delivery software.
- Operate the company vehicle safely and professionally, strictly adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed within assigned time windows and on schedule.
- Customer Service and Documentation:
- Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Obtain necessary signatures .
- Address basic customer inquiries or issues and report any major problems to the supervisor immediately.
- Vehicle Maintenance and Reporting:
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs, damage, or accidents to the supervisor promptly.
- No Guaranteed Hours: This is a casual position with no guarantee of a minimum number of hours per week.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Driving License: A current, valid QLD driver's license
- Driving Record: A clean and safe driving record.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move packages of varying sizes and weights .

Pay: $24.95 – $45.42 per hour
