Job Overview:
Le Bon Choix is looking for a reliable and energetic qualified Barista to assist with various duties, including customer service, food preparation, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate should be flexible, enthusiastic, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours:
This is a casual position with a flexible work schedule, ranging from 30 to 38 hours per week, including weekends and some evening shifts. HOWEVER, THERE IS ROOM FOR GROWTH AND MORE HOUR FLEXIBILTIY!!
Pay rates are under the Restaurant Industry Award MA000119.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to café standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
- Assist with food preparation (sandwiches, salads, cakes, etc.) as needed.
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including tables, kitchen, and front-of-house areas.
- Stock and replenish items as needed.
- Assist in opening and closing the café, including cleaning and setting up.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth café operations.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a café or hospitality environment mandatory
- Must have Barista skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
- A team player with a strong work ethic.
- Flexible and adaptable to varying shifts and working hours.
