Night Shift Loader (Forklift Operator) - Eastern Creek, NSW
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join a busy logistics and transport operation based in Eastern Creek, NSW.
This role is primarily focused on loading trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Candidates must have proven experience loading trucks using a counterbalance forklift, with tray bed truck loading experience highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
- Load trucks accurately according to load plans and schedules.
- Secure and position freight to ensure safe transportation.
- Load and unload various freight types as required.
- Perform routine forklift safety checks and inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Follow all site procedures and safety regulations.
Essential Requirements
- Current LF Forklift Licence.
- Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
- Previous experience loading trucks in a warehouse or transport environment.
- Tray bed truck loading experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of load restraint and safe loading practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
- Ability to work ongoing night shifts.
- Full Australian working rights.
Weekly pay. Ongoing work available with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time role for the right candidate.
Pay: $42.90 per hour
