Skin Bottega is a specialised beauty and skin clinic focused on providing personalised skin and beauty treatments to clients. We are seeking an experienced and qualified Beauty Therapist to join our team and deliver high-quality skin and beauty therapy services.
About the Role
As a Beauty Therapist, you will be responsible for providing professional skin analysis, facial therapies, advanced skin treatments and personalised skincare advice. You will work closely with clients to understand their skin concerns, recommend appropriate treatment programs and provide professional advice on maintaining healthy skin.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client consultations and detailed skin analyses to identify individual skin characteristics, concerns and treatment goals.
- Recommend suitable facial, skin and beauty treatments based on individual client requirements.
- Perform professional facial and skin treatments, including skin peels, enzyme treatments, LED light therapy and other non-invasive skin therapies offered by the clinic.
- Perform skin needling and other advanced beauty therapy treatments within the scope of your qualifications, training and competency.
- Provide appropriate pre-treatment and post-treatment care instructions to clients.
- Monitor client treatment progress and maintain accurate client treatment records.
- Recommend professional skincare routines and suitable products for clients' individual skin types and concerns.
- Provide advice on the appropriate use and benefits of professional skincare products and assist with product sales.
- Assist with body and skin treatments, including lymphatic and other non-invasive therapies offered by the clinic.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation and infection control.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, equipment and products before and after treatments.
- Manage client bookings, appointments and treatment records.
- Provide professional and personalised customer service throughout the client's treatment experience.
- Maintain knowledge of current beauty therapy techniques, skincare products and treatment protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the Skin Bottega team to maintain a high standard of client care and service delivery.
Essential Skills and Experience
- AQF Certificate IV or above level qualification in beauty services or beauty therapy.
- A Diploma of Beauty Therapy or equivalent relevant qualification will be highly regarded.
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Beauty Therapist.
- Demonstrated experience in skin analysis, facial treatments and professional skincare.
- Knowledge of skin types, common skin concerns and appropriate treatment approaches.
- Strong knowledge of beauty therapy hygiene, sanitation and client safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide personalised skincare advice and explain treatment procedures clearly to clients.
- Strong attention to detail and a professional presentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to delivering a high standard of client service.
Desirable
Experience with advanced skin treatments, professional skincare products, skin peels, LED therapy, skin needling, enzyme treatments or other non-invasive skin therapies will be highly regarded.
