What you’ll be doing
Operating plant equipment such as Excavator, Loader and Forklift.
Supporting daily transfer station operations
Eventually assisting with Weighbridge transactions, taking payments and providing customer service.
Handling and moving waste materials across the facility
Loading/unloading waste, stockpiling, and processing materials
Screening and sorting different waste streams to ensure correct disposal
What you’ll bring
Previous experience as a plant operator, yard hand or labouring
Excavator, Loader & Forklift tickets and/or experience are not required but desirable
Previous experience in landfill or waste facility experience is beneficial
Waste industry and transfer station experience highly regarded
Willingness to work in a hands-on environment
Positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to safety
