As the Senior Technical Officer - Construction Quality, you will oversee quality assurance across Council's civil construction operations while ensuring environmental, waste management and biosecurity compliance requirements are met throughout project delivery.

- Experience in civil construction quality assurance, with strong skills in materials testing, results interpretation and quality control processes.
- Skilled in developing and implementing specifications, auditing programs and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve high-quality project outcomes.
- Proficient in using and developing technology and data management systems to support job tracking, reporting and operational efficiency.
- Knowledgeable in construction waste management, environmental compliance and relevant regulatory requirements.
- A collaborative leader with strong communication skills, capable of coaching teams, preparing technical reports and driving best-practice outcomes.

This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
