What you’ll deliver with us
As our Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Lead be providing technical expertise, incident resolution and the building of systems capability within Salesforce Marketing Cloud as a primary platform. This role supervises systems operations and platform health, as well as providing strategic and tactical input into complex business problems and projects.
This person is responsible for the solutions design and implementation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud used for both Marketing and non-Marketing engagement, working closely with Enterprise Notifications Service teams, Tibco CCS/Integrations, Salesforce CRM, ISO and Security, BG&I, Marketing, Online Shop, Salesforce Marketing Cloud partners and 3rd party platform vendors. It is a great opportunity to support the core enterprise platform that delivers for the business as well as fostering a close relationship with Salesforce.
This is a fixed-term contract opportunity until 30 June 2027.

Contribute to a high performing team, as a Salesforce-specialised technical lead through system integration solutions that enable market leading customer engagement experiences across email & SMS and relative channels such as basic landing pages in addition to new and emerging platforms.

Lead the implementation of solutions and troubleshooting based on best practices and strategic goals be it on our managed platforms or upstream systems.

Help deliver best in market and customer centric CRM programs leveraging the capability and technology of our digital engagement platforms.

Look after the health/ongoing maintenance of the platform including fixing broken integrations, checking API integrations, reviewing if customers received correct details.

Stay up to date with the technical, legislative, contractual and compliance obligations affecting both digital and data channels and the market.
About you
This is far more than a “ticket taking” position. We are looking for someone who can build re-usable capability for salesforce automations and cloud pages. If you have salesforce development skills that can be utilised to provide support that is a bonus! The key skill we are looking for is someone with Salesforce marketing cloud technology skills. We are seeking someone who is a strong communicator who can present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll largely be working with Cyber, ISO, Operations, Upstream Integration and Salesforce CRM teams internally. Externally your key stakeholders are Salesforce, Validity/Everest and consultant System integration teams.
You’ll also need

Experience leading a Salesforce platform and management experience including knowledge solution design, endpoint management for REST or SOAP APIs and other data integrations.

HTML skills building automation workflows & cloud pages.

Expertise in Salesforce platform development languages such as AMPScript, SQL, SSJS.

Understanding of current MarTech platforms, vendors, emerging practices, market trends and competitive landscape.

Experience utilising a top tier marketing automation / customer engagement platform eg Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe, Braze, Marketo.

Salesforce Certified Professional certificate in Marketing Cloud and/or Data Cloud are highly regarded but not a requirement

Background working with Salesforce marketing cloud as a Technical Specialist/Lead or a Salesforce Integration Lead are relevant for this role.
