The Role: Assistant Venue Manager

Location: Perth CBD, WA (in-person)

As Assistant Venue Manager, you’ll work closely with the Venue Manager to ensure every game runs smoothly, safely, and seamlessly.
One shift you might be managing a fully booked Saturday with back-to-back pirate crews. The next, supporting your team through a corporate group event or fine-tuning processes to improve flow and immersion.
This is a leadership role for someone who can balance operations, people management, and guest experience, while still being hands-on when it counts.
What You’ll Do
- Support the Venue Manager in overseeing daily venue operations

Lead, coach and develop a team of Game Masters

Ensure every guest receives a high-quality, immersive experience

Maintain venue presentation — rooms reset perfectly, FOH sharp, standards upheld

Oversee bookings, large group events and customer enquiries

Assist with rostering, training and performance development

Step in to run games, troubleshoot tech, and problem-solve in real time

Monitor KPIs and support business performance

Take charge confidently when the Venue Manager is off-site
