SOCIAL REVAMP is looking for a creative, reliable and self-motivated Social Media Content Creation Manager to take ownership of content and posting for one client account.
You’ll be responsible for planning, scripting, filming, editing and scheduling approximately six high-quality short-form videos each month as well as stories (using our scheduling software). You’ll also capture professional-looking photography and additional raw content during the monthly shoot for use across the client’s social media channels.
Monthly Hours
The role includes 10 paid hours per month:
The breakdown of hours is as follows
- 3 hours: Monthly content shoot in Rockingham, usually on a Friday
- 3 hours: Content planning, ideation, scripting and shot preparation
- 1 hour: Scheduling videos, posts and stories using our scheduling software
- 3 additional hours: Editing, revisions, driving, client updates or extra time required to complete the monthly content
The 3 additional hours are included specifically to allow for any extra editing, driving time, changes, communication or work that may be needed throughout the month.
The monthly shoot will generally produce six short-form videos, usually between 30 seconds and one minute, 30 seconds long. Although you would post around 6 short form videos, you may like to shoot more content and choose the best.
Content may include educational videos, testimonials, behind-the-scenes footage, aesthetic brand content and trend-based ideas.
Editing will generally involve selecting the best clips, trimming footage, adding subtitles, adding transitions, pops ups on screen and creating a polished final result.
Responsibilities
- Develop monthly content ideas and scripts
- Prepare shot lists and plan the monthly shoot
- Film high-quality short-form video content
- Capture aesthetic photography and supporting content
- Edit six short-form videos each month
- Add subtitles and complete basic audio and visual adjustments
- Schedule approved content
- Communicate with the client when updates or approvals are required
- Work independently and ensure all content is completed on time
You won’t be responsible for regular day-to-day client management. However, occasional emails may be required for approvals, updates or shoot coordination.
You’ll work directly with the agency owner and receive a proper handover from the previous account manager. Clear systems and processes will be provided.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience filming high-quality short-form social media videos
- Strong camera skills and an eye for aesthetic content
- A good understanding of composition, lighting, framing and visual storytelling
- Experience editing short-form video content
- A strong understanding of current social media trends
- Experience using CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar software
- The ability to work independently, take initiative and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport to Rockingham
Having your own camera and filming equipment is strongly preferred. However, applicants with a strong portfolio and proven filming ability are still encouraged to apply.
Previous experience creating content for businesses or managing client social media accounts is preferred but not essential.
There may be opportunities to take on additional client accounts in the future.
