About the role
This is a fulltime role for a Chef De Partie at the Guildford Hotel. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
Working alongside our head chef, you will be given a fantastic opportunity to develop your current culinary skillset.
To be successful in the role you will need to be:
Competent in all aspects of pans, grill and larder work.
An excellent team player.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Flexible availability.
Have the ability to work under pressure during peak service times.
Possess excellent knowledge and demonstrate a passion for food.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Trade qualification or equivalent (Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery)
Dedication to the production, preparation, and presentation of dishes of the highest quality.
Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision.
Team player attitude and willingness to work within a small, diverse team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Adhere to strict stock rotation and minimum wastage guidelines.
Ability to maintain a clean, hygienic and safe working environment.
