Born and raised in Melbourne, YOMG (Yo My Goodness) has grown from its Victorian roots to an expanding network of locations across Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.We are incredibly excited to announce the next-stage of YOMG's expansion into Western Australia. Our upcoming Western Australian locations will bring to locals, the full YOMG offering of quality burgers, shakes, and premium self-serve frozen yogurt.
With our Western Australian expansion officially underway, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Western Australian State Manager to play a key leadership role in launching YOMG into a brand-new market, establishing our operations and culture, and driving the continued growth of YOMG across Western Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity to join YOMG at a significant stage of growth and play an integral part of building our Western Australian presence from the very beginning.
About the Role
As the Western Australian State Manager, you will play a hands-on role in the successful launch and establishment of our Western Australian locations. Working closely with the national operations team, you will assist in building the operational foundations for the state, and play a key role in shaping YOMG’s long-term growth in the Western Australian market. You will guide Multi-Site Manager/s, support Department Manager/s, and ensure each location meets YOMG’s standards in quality, service, safety, and performance. You will play a key role in shaping operational strategy, driving efficiency, and supporting statewide growth in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful establishment and ongoing operating of YOMG across Western Australia
- Play a key leadership role in new store openings, from preparation and recruitment, through to training, launch, and ongoing performance
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing Multi-Site Manager/s, Department Manager/s, and store leadership teams as the Western Australin network grows
- Drive operational excellence by ensuring all stores execute YOMG standards in service, food quality, presentation, and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with the national, operations team on statewide operational strategy, performance targets, and long-term growth planning
- Monitor and manage key operational metrics including sales, labour control, COGS, productivity, and compliance
- Conduct regular operational audits, performance reviews, and store visits
- Establish and implement systems, processes, and operating procedures across the Western Australian network
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and leadership development across management teams
- Lead statewide initiatives such as new store openings, training programs, and brand projects
- Deliver accurate reporting, analysis, and forecasting to guide operational decisions
- Foster a strong, positive, and performance-driven culture aligned with YOMG values
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in multi-site operations leadership, ideally as a State Manager, Regional Manager within hospitality, QSR, or high-volume retail
- Experience supporting new store openings, market expansion, or building operations in a growing network will be highly regarded
- Strong operational understanding across rostering, service flow, stock control, food safety, compliance, and financial performance
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and influence multiple layers of management teams
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
- A hands-on, engaged leadership style with a passion for developing people
- Ability to work flexibly and travel regularly across Western Australia as the network expands
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance high-level planning with day-to-day operational realities

Induction and Training
To ensure you’re fully supported and set up for success, the successful candidate will undertake a four – eight week induction and training program in Victoria prior to the Western Australian store launch (this can be consecutive or split). Travel and accommodation expenses provided.
