What you'll be doing
As Finance Business Partner Support, you'll work closely with the Finance Manager – Management Accounting to deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering services across the District. You'll provide high-quality financial analysis, support strategic planning and help drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and financial expertise.
Prepare and consolidate monthly financial reports, forecasts, budgets and executive reporting packs.
Partner with stakeholders to provide financial advice, performance analysis and portfolio dashboards.
Coordinate annual budgeting, funding allocations and efficiency improvement program reporting.
Deliver financial modelling, project analysis and business insights using advanced Excel, Power BI and SQL reporting tools.
Support the development and continuous improvement of budgeting, forecasting and financial management systems.

How to Apply

Relevant tertiary and professional qualifications, with relevant experience within the finance function of a medium to large organisation, or substantial relevant experience within the public health sector.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and concisely with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, supporting informed decision-making.
Proven time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and consistently meet deadlines.
Demonstrate experience in interpreting complex financial and performance data, identifying key trends and issues, providing clear and actionable recommendations, and preparing briefs for executive approval.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, with minimal supervision, and to lead projects as required.
Proven experience using financial systems such as Oracle ERP, along with advanced proficiency Microsoft Excel including Power Query and VBA (desirable) and Word; experience with database tools such as MS SQL is desirable.
Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation, with a strong willingness to learn and develop an in-depth understanding of healthcare systems, tools, cost drivers, and associated policy and compliance requirements.
