About the role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Assistant / Trainee to join the team in Dandenong South.
This is a full-time, permanent position and would suit an entry-level candidate, junior-level applicant, school leaver, or someone looking to start a long-term career in warehousing and logistics.
No previous warehouse experience is required, and a forklift licence is not required. Full training will be provided for the right person.
The role will involve picking and packing customer orders, dispatching goods, receiving and checking incoming stock, preparing pallets and freight shipments, loading and unloading deliveries, assisting with container unloading when required, completing stock counts, and helping keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, physically fit and willing to learn. The right person will have a positive attitude, good attention to detail, a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
This role offers stable Monday to Friday hours, no weekend work, on-the-job training, a friendly and supportive team environment, and the opportunity to learn warehouse, inventory and logistics operations.
Employees who demonstrate strong performance, reliability and commitment will be eligible for an annual salary review after 12 months of continuous employment. Successful employees can expect a salary increase of approximately 10%–15% following their first annual performance review.
Pay: $28.00 per hour + superannuation
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Expected hours: 40 hours per week
